THE BLESSINGS OF BATTLE – 1 Samuel 17:29
Is there not a cause for this battle? We are taking a very close look at the devil – your adversary. Jesus tells us, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The devil wants our soul – and he will use anyone or anything to get it! But the good news is, with God’s help, our battles will be a blessing because we are on the winning side!

SIGHT OR FIGHT – 1 Samuel 17:17
Are you sitting around just looking at things – watching life go by – and at the same time trying to deal with the things that are working against you? Let’s find out about a young man who was sent to look – but instead of simply being a spectator – he ended up in the fight. He fought to defend God’s name and honour – and to bring victory to the children of Israel – by defeating their enemy unto the glory of God.

EXAMPLES OF FORBEARANCE – part 4 – 1 Corinthians 12:26
This completes the 4-part series on Forbearance. Are we laborers in the Lord? Are we committed one to another? Committed to the gospel? What are we doing that is honourable unto God? Approved of the Lord? Chosen in the Lord? Whose honour are we worthy of? A Father’s honour… A brother’s honour… A member’s honour? Join with me as we take an up-close look at Paul’s honour roll of the righteous. This teaching will definitely encourage you, by the spirit of God, to do more and even much more for the kingdom of God unto his glory.

OUR FORBEARANCE – part 3 – Ephesians 4:16-17
In Christ we are a body fitly joined together. As I consider my brother and sister – I consider myself – because we are of the same body – the body of Christ. This teaching will give us a perfect understanding and a good description of the body of Christ. We are taught to give none offense in anything that the ministry – the church of God – be not blamed. We are bought with a price – therefore we ought to glorify God – in our body. We find out how to treat our brothers and sisters – the body of Christ – according to the will of God – with the same mind that was in Christ – who is the head of the church.

GOD’S FORBEARANCE – part 2 – Romans 12:5
Did you know that we serve a forbearing God? God’s forbearance leads us to repentance, and the right spirit – the right frame of mind – and the right approach leads to righteous works!

FORBEARANCE – part 1 – Philippians 2:1-3
In this 4-part series we take a very close look at the word ‘FORBEARANCE’. This teaching will affect your relationship with your family – church family – friends – neighbours – and everyone else in your life!

FOR SHE SAID – Matthew 9:20-21
She said within herself that she would be made whole if she would but touch the hem of the garment of Jesus. The only thing she confessed was the reality of her miracle. She had the right touch – and her faith made her whole.

LOCK YOUR THOUGHTS – 2 Corinthians 10:3-6
If Lazarus was dead and stinking – as the Bible passage says in 4 days – how long would it take my soul to become a dead smelling corpse if I neglect God’s word for any amount of time? Your mind is a prime target of the devil. Let’s see how he sets up his attack and what we must do to defend ourselves at all times…

DON’T MAKE THESE MISTAKES – Matthew 22:29
Jesus said, “Ye do err!” He tells us about two mistakes to avoid – two tragic mistakes! We are prone to make a lot of mistakes… and without the Word of God these mistakes will cost you your soul. Let’s find out what these two mistakes are.

BAREFOOT CHRISTIANS – Ephesians 6:10-14
In the spirit – look at your feet – are they shod or shackled? Paul had a closehand look at a Roman soldier and gives us a spiritual description of the armour that you and I need to put on. We will spend some time looking at what we should have on our feet because we’ve got marching orders! Are you ready to run with patience the race set before you?

A SALTY SITUATION – Luke 17:32
In the second shortest verse in the Bible, Jesus said, “Remember Lot’s Wife.” Lot’s wife did not stay behind to be destroyed… she had saved herself from destruction… but she didn’t make it all the way. She believed enough to leave – but she didn’t have what it takes to make it all the way. For those of us who are running (working out your own salvation), we must do what the word of God teaches us in order to make it unto the end – for the same shall be saved! Let’s find out what that is…

INTENTIONAL THOUGHTS – Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The spirit of God is in every single word and there’s enough word of God in your Bible to last until Jesus comes. The word of God convinces, convicts, converts and it comforts – it also condemns and corrects. When you think the right thing – you do the right thing. Let’s find out how we can think God’s thoughts…

UNACCEPTABLE APPAREL – Zephaniah 1:7-8
Are we wearing acceptable apparel? It’s not the dress code to a fancy restaurant and not what you wear to church on Sunday. This teaching encourages us to take a look at what is in our spiritual closet. We are going to a feast with The King… let’s get in God’s word to find out what we need to wear – today!

BEGGING IN BLINDNESS – Mark 10: 46
Get your Bible – we are going into the New Testament to take a close look at what a blind man did in order to receive his sight. Blind Bartimaeus – who was blind all his life – maintained a lifestyle of begging by the wayside – until the day Jesus walked by. As we read this account, we see that the person who received from God – was the person who had faith and who obeyed. Are you ready to obey God’s commandments – despite what your friends may have to say? What will you do when the people around you try to stop you? Will you lose out on what God has for you?

IT TAKES TWO – Genesis 25:21-23
We are going to take a closer look at the birth of Esau and Jacob – the first set of twins we read about in the Bible! Two in the womb… two nations… and like the saying goes – it takes two to fight! After Jacob’s encounter with God where he is given a new name, the first thing he does is repair his relationship with his brother ending a life-long feud. Paul wrote to the Galatians telling them, “But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.” This example of Jacob shows us how we can be blessed with God’s promises. Get your Bible and listen to how Jacob was born hanging on… What are you hanging on to?
