NOT MEANT FOR MANY – Matthew 7:13-14
Get your Bible as we begin to read at the beginning of the sermon on the mount in Matthew chapter 5, and then go into Matthew chapter 7 as Jesus brings his sermon to a close. He teaches us about two gates and two ways… and that one of those ways is not meant for many! The wide gate leads to a broad way – and the straight gate leads to the narrow way. What gate will you go through? There is only one gate that leads unto life everlasting while the other gate will lead you to destruction. The way that leads unto life is Jesus! Is that the way you are on? Find out more by listening to this teaching that will set you on the way that leads you away from death… and the end thereof is life everlasting.

Solomon in the Proverbs teaches us that the tongue of the wise is health, and that death and life are in the power of the tongue. David teaches us that our delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law we meditate day and night! As we learn to think the right things, we also learn to speak the right things. We serve a God who speaks, and we have been created in his image, which means we can speak like our Creator. Let’s learn to talk like God talks!

SOMETHING SCARY – Luke 21:34-36
At the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, will you be CAUGHT UP or CAUGHT OFF guard? Listen to this preaching if you are not sure how to answer that question! That day is coming upon us quite quickly, and I for one don’t want to be caught off guard! Jesus teaches us to, “Take heed to yourselves!” and tells us about two things that we need to do. Let’s find out what they are…

THE POTTER’S POWER – Romans 9:20
We’re going to take a look at the Creator and the creation. In Christ we are a new creature! So are you a new creature made by God? In the Potter’s hands, we must be compliant to the will of God, for the Potter has the power to make a vessel unto honour – vessels of mercy – or a vessel unto dishonour – vessels of wrath! So, what’s it going to be? Are we a vessel unto honour, meet for the Master’s use?

Two men! Two visions! Two different nationalities! Two different religions! But one God brings them together in a way that revolutionized the New Testament church! This teaching spends time in Acts chapter 10, so get your Bible and let’s find out how the Apostle Peter had to change his perception and do away with the conceptions of his religion in order to do the will of God. Call no man common… let’s find out what that means – directly from the word of God!

THE SOUND OF YOUR SPEECH – 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
The Apostle Paul shows us ‘a more excellent way,’ and this is going to change the way we talk, and more importantly the way we sound! This teaching will define our character and who we are in the body of Christ. As we speak, do we exhort? Do we edify? Do we have love for our Brothers and Sisters in Christ? Let’s find out what God has in store for us through his word, and apply it to our everyday life to make us profitable for the kingdom of God!

By reading several passages from the epistles of John, we find out how important it is to have our eyes on the right person. Jesus showed Himself to his disciples and then He said “Follow Me”! Jesus is our leader and we need to keep Him in our sights at all times. We can’t afford to ‘turn about’! This is what Peter did, and Jesus told him that he had to mind his own business! You and I are under the same directives today! Let’s find out what it takes to follow Jesus as He leads us to eternal life.

In this three part series we take a look at three attitudes that every child of God should have in order to live a prosperous and profitable life unto God. Through the scriptures, these three teachings will give you what it takes to go through any situation in life and to come out victorious, giving the glory to God in all things that we do. Let’s find out how we can have all three of these positive attitudes as we go about our daily activities and the difference that they will make as we confess I CANI WILL – and – I AM!

THE I AM ATTITUDE – Judges 6:11
In part three of this series we learn through the scriptures how to become an active participant within the will of God. We take a look at a young man who did not think he was able to accomplish what God was asking him to do. The angel of the Lord changed his mind and gave him the right attitude to bring deliverance and victory to the children of God. As soon as we say ‘I AM’ and we begin to do the will of God, there’s nothing that will be able to stand in our way! Let’s get the right attitude – today!

THE I WILL ATTITUDE – 1 Samuel 17:32
In part two of this series we learn that just because someone ‘can’ doesn’t mean they ‘will’! In 1 Samuel 17:32, we read where there was only one young man who was willing to say, “Thy servant will!” Let’s find out what it takes to do away with the obstacles that keep us from becoming a doer of the word of God. When we say ‘I WILL’, not only is God with us, but He will never forsake us. Get a hold of these promises – today – and be blessed with the right attitude!

THE I CAN ATTITUDE – Philippians 4:10-13
We’re going to take a look at how Paul was able to say, “I can!” Was there something he needed to learn before he was able to confess that he could do all things through Christ who gives him strength? Let’s find out how you and I can have this same confession in a powerful and life-changing way – everyday – no matter what we are going through!
