WORK OUT WHAT GOD WORKS INPhilippians 2:12
Paul tells me to ‘work out’ my own salvation with fear and trembling. God is doing a work in me – provided that I am his son or daughter – and I am working his good pleasure. The Bible contains all I need to work out as God works in! When something is in you – you are not going to go anywhere without it! What’s in you? Hope! …and his name is Jesus!

THESE AND THOSE THINGS: DO – part 2 – Philippians 4:7-9
In part 1 of this series, “These and Those Things – Think”, we learned that there are rules, guidelines, commandments, and ordinances that we must abide by. The flesh does not want to follow God’s ordinances. If we are not doing the will of God – what God wants us to do – it is because we are not thinking about what we should be doing! Sounds simple enough – but what things are you thinking about?

THESE AND THOSE THINGS: THINK – part 1 – Philippians 4:7-8
This is the 1st in a 2 part series. This teaching will look at different minds. The word of God tells us, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Are you thus minded? Let’s put some walls up…and defend our city! Nothing gets in AND nothing gets out. You are what you think in your heart. Let’s find out exactly what we should be thinking about!

STEADFASTLY SET – Isaiah 50:7
We are taking a real close look at the determination that Jesus had. Without it… He would never have made it to the cross. Is your mind made up? Are you steadfastly set?

CAREFUL OR PRAYERFUL – part 2 – Philippians 4:4-6
Are you troubled by things in this world? There are enough teachings in the Bible that we can live this life worry free. The Bible teaches us how prayer will help us live worry free. Get your Bible and let’s find out how…

CARE VS PRAYER – part 1 – Philippians 4:4-6
Fear is the opposite of faith. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The Bible reminds us to, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Then the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Fear nothing… Pray for everything!

THE COWARD IN THE CAVE – part 2 – 1 Kings 19
“The Coward in the Cave” is the sequel to “The Man On the Mountain.” Let’s learn more about Elijah – a man who was mightily used by God.

THE MAN ON THE MOUNTAIN – part 1 – 1 Kings 18
The Man On The Mountain is the first part in a two part series. If you are not sure what to believe – then you are bound to get into trouble! The people of God were stuck between opinions until the man of God – Elijah – showed up and said enough is enough. It is time to choose whom you shall serve – today!

WILL TOO – Romans 12:1-2
We are looking at the will of God for each and everyone of us. God is alive – we are serving a living God and God wants us to be a living sacrifice. What does it mean to be a living sacrifice? He doesn’t want burnt offerings or fleshly sacrifices – HE WANTS YOU! We are told to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable service. Here is an in-depth look of who we are – unto God – and how we can live a godly life – a sacrifice acceptable unto God.

THE SINGLE EYE – Matthew 6:22-24
We are going to take a look at how to bring light into our soul. During this communion service, we read scriptures teaching us how to have perfect vision – in Christ! Jesus teaches us how the whole body can be full of light. He tells us our eye can be either single or evil. We have a choice – a single eye full of light or an evil eye full of darkness. Confess with your mouth – my eye will be full of light from this day forward!

THE PATTERN OF A POWERFUL PRAYER – Mark 14:32
We need to pray… and we need to be a praying people! Jesus taught his disciples how to pray and it ultimately gives us a pattern of a powerful prayer. This message will help us to pray just like Jesus prayed. As we get into this teaching – get ready for better things in your life as your prayers become effective.

EXCELLENCE OF GODLY EXERCISE – Hebrews 5:11-14
Use it or lose it! For the good of our souls – the Bible teaches us how to get fit – and how to stay fit. We need strength and power to resist the devil. We have to get in shape and for that we need exercise – Godly exercise!

FILLED WITH ALL FULLNESS – Ephesians 3:13-19
To be filled with all the fullness of God means there is no room for anything else – anything that pertains to darkness – the works of the Devil. Today we are finding out how to be strong in the inner man by God’s spirit. Does Christ dwell in your heart? Is He there to stay?

CONTINUAL BREAD – Numbers 4:7
Bread from Heaven… Do you have enough bread? Moses had to provide continual bread in the tabernacle – upon the table of shew bread. God hasn’t changed – our God is a provider! Jesus said, “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” Through God’s word, we learn that we can be a partaker of this table – which is God’s table. Once we get into the New Testament – all of these examples from the Old Testament, which are a shadow of things to come – becomes spiritual – and it’s food for my soul – bread from Heaven.

THE SUPPLIER AND THE SUPPLY – Philippians 4:14-19
We are going to learn about the importance of fruit! Paul teaches us how sons and daughters can receive from God. Being found in God’s will gives us the advantage to receive from God. No sowing means – no reaping and no harvest! How you and I sow determines what our harvest will be. The husbandman of the vineyard – our Father in heaven – inspects the branches – that’s us – and He is looking for fruit! The man of God wrote to the Philippians with praise, “You have done well!” Do you and I have the same report?

WANTED: DEAD AND ALIVE! Romans 6:11
You’re wanted: Dead and alive! How can we be both dead and alive? Romans 6 verse 11 says, “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Dead unto sin- Alive unto Christ – and this is how God wants us! This is how true sons and daughters of God live… by applying these biblical principles to their lives – daily – and sin and death are replaced by holiness and life.

TWO BATTLEGROUNDS – Matthew 26:41
We’re going to take a look at two different battlegrounds – and two different enemies. You may be thinking, “Well, I thought the devil is my enemy!” and you are correct – he is… but, there’s another enemy that we need to be aware of! Listen to this teaching to find out who that enemy is and how we can be equipped to fight and be victorious on these two battle grounds!

THE FALL OF SAUL – 1 Samuel 15:26
From the scriptures, we learn of a man named Saul who was anointed by Samuel the prophet of God. We read that the King of Israel – Saul – disobeyed God’s direction – and lost God’s approval – and things went downhill from there. Saul had an excuse… but God didn’t go for it, even though Saul tried to convince Samuel otherwise. Saul listened to the people – instead of obeying God. In God’s sight – this was evil. In the people’s sight – this was good. We find out how God looks at things – and it’s not always how you and I see things. Saul rejected the word of the Lord and this is why God rejected Saul! Are we standing in jeopardy of God rejecting us?

THE WEEPING CAUSE – Philippians 3:18-21
Paul wrote to the Philippians, “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ.” Paul had a reason to weep! The way some people were walking – in Philippi – brought a certain sorrow to Paul. Why? Because their end was destruction. They were minding earthly things and they gloried in their shame – their sin! Let’s not be found in the category of people who are the enemies of the cross of Christ. Instead, let’s learn to be a friend of God!

WICKED WICKS – part 2 – Exodus 27: 20-21
Part 1 began with a look at the oil of anointing. Now that you’ve checked the oil in your lamp… what makes your lamp burn? What gives your lamp the light you need to shine in the dark? We are going to look at taking care and making sure our wicks are in good working order. Aaron was taught to trim the wick when he dressed the lamps – otherwise the fire went out! Get your Bible… read along and find out what you need to do to keep the oil in your lamp burning!

CHECK YOUR OIL – part 1 – Exodus 30:22
This is part 1 of a 2 part series. It’s time to check your oil, and I’m not talking about the oil in your car! We are going to take a look at the oil we need in our lamps. Not only do we need oil, but we need the right kind of oil and more importantly, we need enough oil to last until the midnight hour. Be wise and make sure you have enough of the right oil in your lamp – today!

RIGHTEOUS AND REMEMBERED – Genesis 7:1
Why did God remember Noah? God wiped out the inhabitants of this earth, but he spared one man! This teaching will take a closer look at that man – Noah. We will see what God saw in him. Does God know who you are? Will he remember you in your time of need? It comes down to this… when Jesus returns for his bride, will you be destroyed or delivered like Noah?

RISEN – REMEMBERED – LUKE 24:1-6
What do we do when something doesn’t go according to plan and we don’t understand what went wrong? In a crisis, can we remember what God said? How quickly do we forget when things are out of control? If we dwell on the circumstances – we begin to walk by sight and not by faith. It is important that we know what is written and equally important to not forget God’s word. And here’s why… heaven and earth shall pass away – but my (God’s) words shall not pass away! Don’t let circumstances destroy your faith in God’s word.

SERVE YOUR MASTER – Romans 1:25
This is the final teaching in this four part series on The Master. In the previous teachings we spent some time getting to know our Master. Here we look at – serving God – serving your Master. This teaching will help us learn what God expects from his people – his servants. Let’s examine ourselves to find out if we are serving God the way He wants to be served.

KNOW YOUR MASTER – Numbers 12:1-13
“Know Your Master,” is the third in a four part series on The Master. In the New Testament, Paul wrote to the Corinthians, “For some have not the knowledge of God.” How well do you know your Master? When Miriam and Aaron were back-biting against Moses… they didn’t know – that their God – their Master – would be listening. In this teaching, we get to know our Master and how He reacts to certain situations. Let’s listen to learn more about our Master…

WHO IS YOUR MASTER? Numbers 12:1-11
“Who Is Your Master?” is the second in a four part series on The Master. As we learned in the first part, the Lord came down… because the Lord heard murmurings against his servant Moses. God was on Moses’ side because he chose to serve Him. We need to choose one master whom we will serve. It’s simple – if you’re not serving God – your Creator – then you are serving the Devil. This is the teaching of Jesus. Make the choice to serve God – and Him only! Choose wisely – today!

MEET YOUR MASTER – Numbers 12:1
“Meet Your Master,” is the first in a four part series on The Master. As we read the account in Numbers 12, we read where Miriam and Aaron were about to meet their master… and not in a good way! As Miriam and Aaron were speaking against the man of God, God was listening… and the Lord heard it! God came down to defend his servant – personally – and their conspiracy against God’s chosen servant came to an abrupt halt! God called a board meeting… and they had a close encounter with their Master. Get your Bible and let’s find out what happened…

STONE UPON STONE – Matthew 24:1-5
This is part one of a two part series that looks at what we use to build with on our foundation. What foundation are we building on? What are we building with? Is our supply from God? Let’s take a look at the foundation we are standing on, making sure it’s everlasting and approved by God!

GOD’S SUPERSTRUCTURE – Matthew 24:1-3
In the second part of this series, we take a closer look at God’s foundation. Here’s a question… where do you stand today? Sinking sand, which is the temporal things of this world – will come to nought – all to an end. God builds with lively stones! This is a spiritual concept and God’s word makes this possible – not only for you to understand and believe – but for you to be a part of God’s superstructure!

HUMAN HEWED – Exodus 34:1
We learn in Exodus that the first set of commandments was the work of God and that the writing was of God. After 40 days and 40 nights on the Mount, God sent Moses down because the people he brought out of Egypt had corrupted themselves. The Israelite’s took the blessing of God and turned it into an idol. With this teaching, we look at how Moses handled the situation… and the consequences of his actions. The way he reacted cost him what he had in his hands, which was the work of God. Will we allow our reactions to others cause us to lose out on the blessings of God?

WATER BAPTISM – PART 2 – Acts 9:36-37 / Acts 22:16
This teaching gives us a full understanding of why we are to be baptized. Through scripture, we see that water doesn’t save us… Jesus shed his blood for that! Water cleanses! We look at how the earth was ‘fully immersed’ when God flooded it to cleanse it from evil and sin. Water has a purpose – in the will of God. As we look at water baptism – we look at water from the Old Testament and from the New Testament – and how it fits into our salvation – today!

WATER BAPTISM – PART 1 – Luke 7:30 / Colossians 2:12
In Act 10 verse 48, there is a command given to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Paul reminds us that we are to be, “…buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised Him from the dead.” It’s all about water! Much water! This teaching will look at the reasons why we should be baptized. Being baptized is not a religious ritual or routine… it is a commandment of God!
