QUICK INTO THE PIT – part 2 – Numbers 16:30 Korah had 250 friends – but he was missing the most important person from his entourage! As we look at this account from the book of Numbers, God says He will do a new thing. He told his people to separate themselves… to get up… and depart from the company of Korah – 250 people who rebelled against God’s servant Moses. Let’s find out what God did to the members of his congregation who refused to do what He commanded them to do. God told his people to separate themselves. On one side was total destruction… but on God’s side his mercy and grace was found. Which side do you want to be found on?
THE COMPANY OF KORAH – part 1 – Numbers 16:5 Who are you keeping company with? Are you in good company? What do we have to do to be on God’s side? Korah and his company withstood Moses and Aaron – God’s servants – but the Bible teaches us that they weren’t just going up against Moses – they were going up against God! Korah tried to self-promote – and that didn’t work out in his favour. This is the first in a two part series on what happens when we are standing on the wrong side of God’s plan.
